Safety is in the air
Without compressed air cylinders, which give us the opportunity to breathe underwater, we could not enjoy the wonderful underwater world. However, this is no reason to blindly trust your breathing gas. There are various types of contaminants that can turn this underwater life support system into pure poison. Therefore, compressed air cylinders should only be filled in reputable places and the air should always be checked for a clear smell and taste before the dive. The slogan “Safety is in the air” is intended to alert divers to the risk of contamination of the breathing gas.
